Mud and Co is a working ceramics studio dedicated to hands-on learning and creative exploration. We offer pottery classes, workshops, and studio access for beginners through experienced potters, all within a welcoming, community-driven environment.

MudCo is located within ShopSpace in Raleigh, NC, a vibrant industrial arts facility dedicated to hands-on learning across a range of disciplines. It’s an inspiring environment and the perfect place to try something new, make something meaningful, and connect with others through craft.

Our classes are intentionally small and personal, creating a supportive space to learn, experiment, and grow. Our Throwing Series builds a strong foundation in wheel work, guiding you through essential techniques with plenty of one-on-one instruction. Beyond that, we offer a variety of workshops and specialty classes bringing fresh ideas and new skills into the studio. Open Studio is your time to practice, explore, and create at your own pace. This unstructured studio access is perfect for continuing projects, refining skills, or simply enjoying time with clay. You’ll have access to studio tools and equipment in a relaxed, supportive environment - giving you the freedom to experiment and make the space your own.

Open Studio is available to those who have completed a class or orientation with MudCo.
